Annual Legal Seminar 2008 "Challenges of cross border mobility for labour law"

The annual legal seminar 2008 of the European Labour Law Network, which took place in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. Over 80 participants representing the European Commission, Ministries, Universities, and social partners discussed the challenges of cross border mobility for labour law.

The first conference day was opened by Mr. Armindo Silva, head of Unit – EMPL/F/2, Employment, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, DG – Brussels. Successively, five presentations were given relating the subject of cross border mobility.
The second conference day was organized for the members of the ELLN Network. The representatives of the European Commission participated until the work on the restatement was discussed because this is strictly divided from the work that the Network performs for the European Commission.
